Introducing the "Core Equity" Portfolio
South Atlantic Capital’s flagship product is our Core Equity portfolio. We have managed separate accounts for both individuals and institutions using this “large-cap value” philosophy and strategy since January 1, 1992. Our intense research results in a somewhat concentrated portfolio of businesses that we understand very well, and which we believe can perform relatively strongly in all economic environments—an “all weather” portfolio. We generally hold 20-25 names.
Our Core Equity Composite is simply the aggregation of our client accounts that have been invested in our Core Equity portfolio over time. Our Core Equity Composite has a verified 31-year record of market outperformance.
